Prayer for Vocations
O Lord God, in every age, You invite men and women
to hear Your call to serve You and the Church.
We bow before You now, asking that You call forth
more persons to serve our Melkite Church in America.
Give us deacons, priests, monastics and nuns,
who will lead and guide your holy people.
By Your will, bless us with vocations
so that we continue to be the church
which You called us to be, centuries ago.
Let all hear Your voice
inviting them to care for and serve Your people.
Strengthen us in being disciples of Jesus Christ,
Your Only – begotten Son
and fishers of men.
Inspire in us the spirit and pride of Antioch,
our holy heritage.
We ask You, O Lover of men,
to raise up men and women
who appreciate what they have received from You
and who want to be generous in their service,
willing to offer their lives and all their gifts,
to serve others,
to give You glory, thanksgiving and worship,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
now and always and forever and ever.
Amen.

أيها الرب إلهنا، دعوتهم في كل عصر، رجالا ونساء،
لسماع كلمتك و لخدمة كنيستك،
ننحني أمامك الآن طالبين ان تستدعي
مزيدا للخدمة في كنيستنا للروم الملكيين الكاثوليك في أمريكا.
أعطنا كهنة وشمامسة ورهباناً وراهبات،
قادرين على رعاية وارشاد شعبك المقدس.
بحسب ارادتك، باركنا بدعوات جديدة
حتى تستمر الكنيسة،
كنيستك، لاجيال واجيال.
اسمعنا صوتك،
تدعوهم لرعاية وخدمة شعبك،
أعطنا القوة لنكون تلاميذاً ليسوع المسيح،
ابنك الوحيد،
واجعلنا صيادين للبشر.
الهمنا بروح وفخر أنطاكيا،
تراثنا المقدس.
نطلب اليك، يا محب البشر،
ان تزيد الرجال والنساء

ليكونوا كرماء في خدمتهم،

Oh Dios nuestro, en cada tiempo
Tu invitas a hombres y mujeres
a escuchar Tu llamado
a servir a la Iglesia.
Nos inclinamos ante Ti
para pedirte que llames a más personas
a servir a nuestra iglesia Melkita en América.
Concédenos diáconos, sacerdotes y monjas que
lideren y guíen a tu pueblo santo.
Por Tu voluntad, bendícenos con vocaciones para
que continuemos siendo la Iglesia que nos has
llamado a ser siglos atrás.
Haz que todos escuchen Tu voz, invitándolos a
cuidar y servir a Tu gente.
Fortalécenos como discípulos de Jesucristo,
Tu Unico Hijo, pescador de hombres.
Inspíranos con el espíritu y amor propio de
Antioquía, nuestra santa herencia.
Te pedimos, Oh
Amante de la humanidad, criar
hombres y mujeres que aprecien lo que han
recibido de Ti, y que deseen ser generosos en su
servicio, dispuestos a ofrecer sus vidas y dones al
servicio de los demás y a rendirte gloria,
agradecimiento y adoración,

O Signore Dio, che in ogni età inviti uomini e donne
ad ascotlare la tua chiamata a servirTi e la tua Chiesa.
Adesso ci inchiniamo davanti a Te, a chiedere che Tu chiami
più persone a servire la nostra chiesa Melchita negli Stati Uniti.
Concedici preti, deaconi, monaci e monache,
per guidare e dirigere il tuo popolo santo.
Secondo la tua volontà, benedici la tua Chiesa con vocazioni,
affinché possiamo continuare ad essere la Chiesa
che ci hai chiamato ad essere, secoli fa.
Che tutti ascoltino la tua voce
invitandogli a prendere cura del tuo popolo e servire la tua Chiesa.
Rafforzaci nell’essere discepoli di Gesù Cristo,
Tuo Unigenito,
e pescatori di uomini.
Ispira in noi lo spirto e vanto di Antiochia,
nostra santa eredità.
Ti chiediamo, O Amante di umanità,
di sollevare uomini e donne
che apprezzino ciò che hanno recevuto da Te
e che vogliano essere generosi nel loro servizio,
volonterosi ad offrire le loro vite e tutti i loro doni
a servire gli altri,
a rendere gloria, ringraziamento, ed adorazione a Te,
