Deacon Formation Program
Our Eparchy (Diocese) also has a Deacon Formation Program. For several years, it was held at St. Basil Seminary, Methuen, Massachusetts; later it was transferred to Anna Maria College, Worcester, MA.
Protodeacon Bryan McNeil Brymc56@comcast.net and Archimandrite Paul Frechette olphworc@att.net coordinate this Program. Presently, it is undergoing a total transformation. Details will be forthcoming.
Consecrated Life
St. Basil Seminary, Methuen, MA was our first seminary in the U.S. Several monks of the BasilianSalvatorian Order Monastery of Our Savior (Deir al Mukhallis), Joun, Lebanon traveled to this country in the early 1950’s and established a Pontifical Institute for all Eastern Catholic Churches.
